Even’s Words

“I am very proud to present the All-Inn Escape. On this event we go all-in, we sleep on the best hotels, as well as having some outstanding cuisine and the best surface activities that the area offers! We have made a truly amazing route, giving you a deep feel and understanding of how the Norwegian landscape was shaped, settled and developed.  All by the harvesting of energy from the water, driven by the same gravitational forces as ourselves, thus being our fundamental premise.

We will follow a storyline going from poor to rich, also reflected in our choice of accommodation.  Starting at our own campsite, we move up through amazing historical hotels in the fjord, including the oldest wooden hotel still running. Culinary highlight? A visit to the Salmon Eye - a floating art installation with Iris, a Michelin-starred restaurant, offering a 6 hour experience of learning and eating. From Salmon Eye, we will embark on a beautiful sailboat dating back to 1884 and sleep our way to the next spot - concluding our Hardangerfjord experience. Next day we wake up exploring the Valley of Gods in the second largest fjord in the world.

Our final night and banquet will be at the old historical hotel Fleischer’s Hotel, where we also will meet the most famous Norwegian in USA through all times.  We will wake up to the National day of Norway, meeting all inhabitants dressed in their national costumes.”

Where you’ll go!

15 unique jumps, no repeats, have been chosen for the All-Inn Escape. We don’t want to say too much, but here you can get a taste of what to expect!

Sunday May 10

A scenic view of a harbor surrounded by green mountains and a small village with colorful houses along the shoreline under a partly cloudy sky.

We meet at 15:00 at Skydive Voss for registration and a short briefing, after which we go straight to our first Innhopp — to our local slaughterhouse! We’ll get to see the origin of our welcome dinner and follow it back to Kvanndal Camp, where we check into our cabins.

This first night, we’ll be sharing cabins in old Norwegian style. They are not of the highest standard but create a cozy, family-like feeling and fit the storyline of taking you “from poor to rich.”

In the evening, we meet for the official opening of our event, featuring presentations of ourselves and the week’s program. For the rest of the week, every day before dinner we’ll have a General Briefing, where we evaluate our day and go through the plan for tomorrow.

Monday May 11

Let’s go! As helicopter load 1 takes off from the camp, the remaining loads start moving toward our first LZ and come back to pick up each load at a designated spot.

Today we start our journey jumping at the Osa mountain lakes with their dams. Here we can see how the glaciers formed the landscape and left these lakes on top, waiting for evolution to harvest the energy released by gravitational forces. On top, we’ll be met with bikes and enjoy a thrilling and very scenic mountain bike ride down the 1200 m mountain, next to waterfalls and sheer rock.

At the bottom, we’ll meet Robert, the founder of BeNature — an amazing storyteller with heaps of knowledge that he’ll share with us as he takes us into the tunnel system built by the Germans during the First and Second World Wars. We’ll enjoy a lunch made from ingredients sourced from the surrounding nature.

After lunch, we move on to our next scheduled jump at a stunning fjordside landing. From here we’ll enter sea kayaks and paddle our way back to Strand Fjordhotel, where we’ll stay for the night. Strand Fjordhotel also offers a sauna and floating tanks — a nice step up from the campsite.

Tuesday May 12

This morning we move on to another fjord arm: Eidfjord and Simadalen. We start the day dropping into a beautiful mountain farm at Kjeåsen, which was only connected by modern road in recent years because of the power plant being built. Before that, locals walked up and down each day on a narrow mountain road, in all sorts of weather. The location is stunning and also a great take-off spot for speedflyers or paraglider pilots.

For lunch, we move to Norsk Natursenter, where we’ll also learn about Hardangervidda National Park through a spectacular panoramic film. We then board the helicopter again and land at perhaps the most picturesque farm, with moss-clad roofs and two big white Samoyed dogs.

This stunning landing is close to the majestic Vøringsfossen waterfalls, where we’ll spend an hour walking around before driving down to the fjord again — checking into Vøringsfossen Hotel, one of the newer hotels in Hardanger.

Wednesday May 13

This morning we’ll land in another isolated, roadless place — Botnen. This is also where our national instrument, the Hardanger fiddle (a violin-like instrument), was invented about 200 years ago. The area is full of proud fiddle-maker families and traditions. Both Botnen and Kjeåsen are examples of places “you wouldn’t believe anybody could live,” which also became the theme for a TV series where they were featured.

From Botnen we land at the beautiful Kvamsøy island, where we’ll have a picnic lunch. Today is our midweek point, and we’ll take a chill afternoon to digest everything we’ve experienced so far. After lunch, a speedboat will take us to the oldest wooden hotel in Norway still running — Utne Hotel. Renowned for its cuisine, the hotel offers a unique atmosphere and a perfect middle-week stop on our journey.

Thursday May 14

Person paragliding over a mountainous, snow-covered landscape.

The next two days are for exploring the glacier from different angles. From Utne, we’ll be picked up and flown to a beautiful location on the side of the stunning Folgefonna glacier. Our second load takes us to the amazing Buer valley, with even more spectacular views.

Here we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before going glacier hiking through incredible surroundings. This session takes about six hours and requires moderate physical fitness.

Upon returning to Buer Restaurant, we head to the hydropower-funded city of Odda, almost on the UNESCO World Heritage list. There, we’ll board speedboats taking us the quickest way to our hotel and a late dinner in Ullensvang.

Building up to our grand finale, we start the day jumping at the north side of the glacier in Bondhus valley. This acts as a stop on our way to our final destination — the Barony — known for its beautiful flower garden and special stone park displaying Norway’s minerals.

From there, we go to the biggest floating art installation in Norway: Salmon Eye, with its Michelin-starred Iris Restaurant. During the six-hour experience, we’ll first learn about locally sourced ingredients and sustainability, then enjoy an unforgettable 18-course meal in an incredible setting.

To conclude our day, we’ll be picked up by Mathilde — a traditional sailboat built in 1884 — taking us back through the Hardangerfjord while we sleep.

Friday May 15

Waking up still sailing, we finish breakfast before our drivers pick us up in Granvin, taking us back to Skydive Voss. From there, we’ll take off with the Cessna Caravan and get dropped into Gudvangen — the Valley of the Gods. Incredible waterfalls gush down the steep mountainsides, and the fjord is ever-present.

The helicopter will then take us for another jump, at a different landing that allows us to fly beside the valley’s tallest waterfall!

We’ll have lunch at Gudvangen Fjordtel near Njardarheim, the Viking village. We finish the day by jumping into our accommodation — Fleischer’s Hotel, built in 1864 and part of the Historical Hotels of Norway. We’ll land near one of the most famous Norwegians in the USA and enjoy our event banquet at Restaurant Magdalena.

Saturday May 16

Three people wearing traditional Norwegian folk costumes, standing outdoors in front of a light green building. The man in the middle has a beard and sunglasses on his head, and the two young women on either side are smiling, holding small Norwegian flags.

Sunday May 17

This is Norway’s National Day — a day when the whole country changes colors. Most people dress in their national costumes, each specific to their home village. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy the children’s parade before picking up our skydiving gear and heading to the DZ.

On this day, Skydive Voss organizes an Innhopp at “the roof of Norway” at Finse, 1222 m above sea level. We’ll join this jump, have lunch at Finse 1222, then return to Voss by train.

During the train ride, we’ll complete our evaluation forms. The event concludes upon arrival at Voss Station at 16:35, and by 17:00 everyone is released.

The All-Inn Escape 2026 has come to an end!

The Hotels

The roof over your head will change 7 times on this 8 day journey - and get increasingly nicer!

All accommodations are waterfront (especially Mathilde) and they all offer something unique. Actually, the accommodation journey follows the story “From Poor to Rich” - beginning at Even’s comfortable but simple Camp Kvanndal, then continuing with historic Utne Hotel who have been serving guests since 1722. And how about getting picked up with the heli from Strand Fjordhotel, arriving by parachute at Fleischer’s Hotel or to enjoy the fjord view from Hotel Ullensvang’s outdoor pool?

By default, the price includes a shared double room. Single room upgrades are often but not always available. In the registration form you’ll be asked to specify what you’d like.

The Cuisine

The All-Inn Escape includes all meals, and we want to let you taste the best that Norway’s cuisine has to offer!

Norwegian cuisine bring together pristine seafood like fresh Arctic cod and salmon, hearty dishes such as reindeer stew, and traditional flavors of brunost (brown cheese), all rooted in the country’s rugged landscapes and coastal topography.

So, we will eat well during our trip, tasting food at high quality restaurants and cafés through out the journey - the highlight being the final banquet - a secret but immersive culinary experience, ending with a unique ride back to the hotel for a good nights rest. We ask you for food preferences and intolerances in the registration form.

The Surface Activities

The All-Inn Escape aims to give you a complete immersion of the nature, history and culture of Norway! That’s why we also include these incredible surface experiences from the best providers available!

With the heli we can get picked up at the hotel in the morning, innhopp and then again get picked up by the helicopter right where we landed - no need to shuttle to the airport! It lets you sleep longer in the mornings and allows us to choose in which weather window to jump but even better - it allows us to enjoy each stunning location for longer!

The helicopter we're jumping from is a AS 350 B3 Ecureuil. It fits five jumpers.

The airplane for this event is the Cessna Caravan, based out of Skydive Voss. It fits 18 jumpers.

Who’s Coming?

Safety & Team

It is a demanding task being the load master for innhopps, and we hire only the best for our events.

We use professional skydivers who spend their private time in the mountains, who study the dynamic weather patterns and have thousands of jumps under their belt. Even Rokne, Andreas Mosling, Petter Stensvold, Johannes Bergfors might be names you’d recognise.

Additionally, the ground staff include jump leader, non-jumper guide, drivers, packer, rigger and logistics master. Camera men make sure the event will live on forever also on your screens - using drone, real photography camera and video camera!

Check out our YouTube Channel for previous event movies and even a special reality show style film named “High Odds of Failure”!

Your Loved Ones

We are regularly joined by our own family members and we want your non-jumping loved ones to feel as welcome as them! So we create an incredible adventure for everyone!

Our skydiving adventures take you to Even’s absolute favorite spots around the Hardangerfjord — places he believes everyone should see at least once. And because great experiences are better shared, you’re welcome to bring your spouse, friend, or family member along, obviously to a much lower price, since they won’t be jumping!

They’ll have their own guide and a comfortable modern minivan to explore the region’s highlights while you’re up in the sky. Sometimes they’ll watch us land - other times not. They continuously discuss with their guide how to best spend their time! We offer them the chance to ride in the helicopter and join all surface activities!

The Innhopp Family

One thing that sets our events apart is our focus on camaraderie and connection.

During the course of the week all participants and staff are asked to present themselves in front of the whole event. Additionally, we form teams who first learn and then hold a presentation about topics like Norway’s flora, fauna or history!

At the end of the week - a quiz is held to test what is remembered! Even, our founder, also takes stage many times per day - narrating the event, sharing his own experiences and highlighting unique moments that happen.
