Glacier to Fjords is focused on big visual impressions, exploring what we consider some of the most beautiful Innhopp locations on the west coast of Norway and the areas surrounding Voss.
We will jump into valleys, over glaciers, land on mountain tops, and cruise past waterfalls while hanging under canopy.
Imagine white snow-covered mountains, deep green valleys, enormous mountain walls, powerful waterfalls, black mountain lakes, and the blue ocean — all at the same time, while hanging in your harness.
During this event, we will tell the story of how glaciers have shaped not only the landscape, but also our societies.

We will meet at Skydive Voss to prepare for the first Innhopp of the event.
Check-in at Kvanndal Camp.
We will present the route for the week and introduce The Innhopp Project with the person who knows it better than anyone: Mr. Even Rokne, the project’s founder.
The week begins with a welcome dinner.
-
We begin the week by repeating the first Innhopp ever made in 1991: landing at the beach in downtown Voss.
After packing up, we return to the DZ for our next jump. This time, we head to the famous mountain plateau above Eidfjord, located 670 meters above sea level, right next to Vøringsfossen — one of Norway’s most dramatic waterfalls, dropping an impressive 235 meters into the valley below.
On our way back, we visit the Nature Center of Hardangervidda, where we will learn more about the mountain plateau and the unique environment around it.
A deserved break with a traditional Norwegian lunch, then we head back to the DZ for our final jump of the day.
The Cessna Caravan will take us 66 km from the DZ, where we will jump over Norway’s third-largest glacier and land at the incredible Buer Restaurant.
Here, we will enjoy a three-course meal with a front-row view of an impressive amount of ice, slowly moving and shaping the landscape on the east side of the valley, while joining a seminar about glaciers and their impact on the world around us.
From here, we return by ground transportation to Kvanndal Camp, where we will spend the night, after a day filled with 3 unique innhopps.
-
After breakfast, we get ready for another day of exploring Norway from a completely different perspective.
We start the day with a visit to the Voss Folk Museum — from the air, of course. We jump directly above the town of Voss and become part of a storytelling experience created together with the museum.
For our second jump, we fly to Osa, a mystical place that remains unknown even to many Norwegians.
Here, we jump into a dramatic landscape of towering mountain walls and deep fjords. In great conditions, some jumpers may even have the opportunity to top land on the dam, located 1,100 meters above sea level.
After landing, we enjoy lunch and hear the incredible stories behind the construction of the tunnels in Osa while relaxing at a small, hidden, and cozy café.
With full bellies, we transport back towards Voss for our final jump of the day. We open our canopies above the beautiful Hardangerfjord and land in the small village of Ålvik, just 10 minutes from our campsite.
The day ends with dinner together at Kvanndal.

This day is something special.
Our goal is to combine two iconic ways of experiencing Norway: train and parachute.
We pack up and check out from the campsite and start with our first jump into the scenic village of Bolstad, a place where green fields meet towering mountains rising from the fjord, surrounded by local farmers and a beautiful, peaceful landscape.
And the best part? The train station is right next to the landing area.
For our next jump, we’ll land at 765 meters above sea level, with a scenic view that will make you understand even more why Norway is considered one of the most beautiful countries in the world. After landing, we will enjoy lunch before taking the train back for a very pleasant 45 minute journey to the DZ.
Back at Skydive Voss and ready for the 3rd jump of the day, we head to Upsete. This mountain hut has remained almost untouched since the 1950s. Walking inside feels like stepping into a time machine, bringing you back to the golden days of Norwegian mountaineering. Our hosts will serve traditional Norwegian cuisine, and, if requested, the sauna will be prepared for a relaxing evening surrounded by the mountains.
-
We wake up surrounded by the beauty of the Norwegian raw nature and enjoy a homemade breakfast at Upsete Mountain Hut.
From here, a helicopter will pick us up and take us to Gudvangen, also known as the Valley of Gods.
We fly next to the incredible Kjelfossen waterfall, an impressive drop of 750 meters from the mountains above.
Yes, you read that right. This is one of the true classic Innhopps.
For the next jump, we experience something completely different.
Imagine the ocean. Now place that ocean inside a narrow corridor only 500 meters wide, surrounded by mountains rising 1,600 meters straight from the water.
Countless waterfalls, green fields, and dramatic mountain walls come together to create a place that feels almost unreal — like an epic fairytale.
After landing, we pack up and enjoy lunch right by the fjord.
On our way back to the DZ, we stop at Stalheim Hotel for a coffee, simply to enjoy one of the most dramatic views of Gudvangen and the surrounding landscape.
Our final jump of the program takes us to the small town of Balestrand.
A place so beautiful that it became a favorite summer destination of German Emperor Wilhelm II, who visited regularly. He loved the area so much that, in 1913, he built a large statue on the opposite side of the fjord so he could look back at the place he admired.
Here, we check into our hotel and finish the day with a cider tasting before our final dinner together.
And who knows… maybe a little celebration after?
-
We wake up and take in the scenery of the magnificent Sognefjord while enjoying breakfast.
For those leaving towards Bergen, we highly recommend taking the express ferry — a four-hour journey through the fjords all the way back to the city.
Our transport will head back to Voss for those who want to extend their stay, continue jumping at the DZ, or simply continue wherever life takes them next.
