Refund Policy — The Innhopp Project
We understand that plans can change. This policy explains when and how refunds apply for deposits and full payments made to The Innhopp Project.
1. Refund on Sign-Up Deposit
If the event is cancelled by The Innhopp Project
If an event does not take place due to conditions connected with The Innhopp Project (such as permits, logistics, weather, or safety), your deposit will be refunded in full, regardless of timing.
If you cancel your participation
Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel and whether your slot can be resold:
If you cancel more than 90 days before the event:
If your slot is resold, you will be refunded in full minus 150 EUR.
If your slot is not resold, you will be refunded 50% of your deposit.
If you cancel between 60 and 90 days before the event:
If your slot is resold, you will be refunded minus 300 EUR.
If your slot is not resold, you will be refunded 25% of your deposit.
If you cancel less than 60 days before the event:
If your slot is resold, you will be refunded minus 300 EUR.
If your slot is not resold, there will be no refund.
If you fail to pay the remaining balance
Failure to complete full payment within the specified deadline makes you ineligible for a refund.
However, if your slot is resold at full price, you will be refunded minus a 300 EUR administrative fee.
2. Refund on Full Payment
If the event is cancelled by The Innhopp Project
If the event does not take place due to conditions connected with The Innhopp Project, your payment will be refunded in full, regardless of timing.
If you cancel your participation
Refunds depend on how early you cancel and whether your slot can be resold:
If you cancel more than 90 days before the event:
If your slot is resold, you will be refunded in full minus 300 EUR.
If your slot is not resold, you will be refunded 50% of your payment.
If you cancel between 60 and 90 days before the event:
If your slot is resold, you will be refunded minus 600 EUR.
If your slot is not resold, you will be refunded 25% of your payment.
If you cancel less than 60 days before the event:
If your slot is resold, you will be refunded minus 600 EUR.
If your slot is not resold, there will be no refund.
If you are excluded or do not complete the event
No refund will be issued if:
You or your companions are banned from the event for safety reasons.
You are excluded by organizers due to behavior that causes concern or discomfort for other participants or staff.
You or your companions choose not to complete the event, regardless of reason.
3. Refund Processing
All approved refunds will be processed within 30 days of written confirmation.
Refunds are made in EUR, and any currency exchange differences or transaction fees are the participant’s responsibility.
4. Summary
Full refund if The Innhopp Project cancels the event.
Partial refund if you cancel and your slot is resold (deduction varies between 150–600 EUR depending on timing and payment stage).
Partial refund possible if you cancel early and your slot isn’t resold.
No refund if you cancel late, fail to pay in full, are excluded, or choose not to complete the event.
